Better Block Hawaii brings new approaches to urban living in Hawaii. At the invitation of local communities and local partners, we facilitate, educate, prototype, advocate, and develop projects to demonstrate urban improvements unique to Hawaii.
Better Block Hawaii is a 501(c)3 non-profit and a coalition dedicated to improving urban livability, services, and infrastructure throughout Hawaii’s urban communities. Current active projects are focused on Waipahu, Oahu and Lihue, Kauai. We are also working with a diverse cohort of philanthropic leaders, lenders and community-based organizations to create opportunities for community wealth building through the real estate assets in our neighborhoods.
